7notes Web Client enables users to handwrite directly into leading survey solution

Collaboration between 7notes and Xware unlocks handwritten surveys for iPad

Tokyo, Japan, February 7, 2012 – 7knowledge Corporation, an innovative productivity application developer for tablet and smartphone devices, and its parent company MetaMoJi Corporation announce a collaboration with Xware to provide a handwriting recognition based survey solution, currently supporting the Japanese language.

“7notes enhances current enterprise market products by reaching into application areas where keyboard based PC systems are used because no better solution exists.” said Kaz Ukigawa, the CEO of 7knowledge. “The iPad and other tablet devices can be used to enable a better customer experience, to streamline paper oriented business processes, and to reduce risks within document management.”

Xware (http://www.xware.co.jp/english/index.html) is a Japanese company providing the leading cloud survey management solution – MOMONGA. MOMONGA provides a variety of survey forms and an extended text input experience, now including handwriting recognition thanks to the 7notes Web Client.

7notes Web Client has been designed to allow business users to access existing web based applications using their iPad with the addition of an advanced handwriting recognition input window; a feature frequently requested by users of the Apple device. Software users can leverage the benefits of handwriting recognition within their existing application stack, and software suppliers can quickly enhance their existing offering with a version of 7notes Web Client branded to their requirements and distributed through the App Store using their logos and custom description.

The 7notes proprietary state-of-the-art handwriting recognition software allows users to take notes on the go, using their fingers or a pen, and easily event switch between handwriting and keyboard entry with a single touch. Notes can be saved as different formats and stored or shared through Dropbox and Evernote. Standard iPad features include flexible note taking, a built-in spell checker, advanced writing prediction engine with autocorrect and auto-completion, and PDF document creation.

7Knowledge continues to offer solutions that eliminate barriers between smartphone users and their keyboards, with future plans to expand its 7notes for iPhone, iPad, and Android.
